Birthday fascination

With Christmas (and with it, quite a windfall of presents for Mats) over and gone, Mats has set his sights on the next major gift-event: his Birthday. He started telling me ever time he sees something he wants for his birthday. For example: a door for the living room. Why? "So that I can have my own key" (he spotted an Elmo key at the local locksmith that he's been begging us for ever since he set sight on it). I offered to write everything down on a wish list (done). When I wanted to put it on the refrigerator, he said "no, we need to send it to Oma". Yep, he knows the quickest and surest way to have his gift wishes fulfilled all right!
