You can't change a tiger's stripes

The SF zoo has three new baby tigers! Today, Mats and I were lucky enough to watch them during their "enrichment program" (something like preschool for baby tigers - they give them bags and cartons with edibles inside so that they learn to find food and access it). First the three babies came out of the cat house, followed a minute later by their mother. Mats' thrill at seeing "Mama Tiger" was short-lived, however, when he realized that Papa Tiger was missing. After a pensive moment, the little light bulb went on above his head, as he proclaimed that Papa Tiger must be in the living room. When I asked what he was doing in the living room, he said "Sitting on the couch reading the newspaper."
Papas are all the same.
