Pulling out the Big Guns

How does an almost-22-month old get attention when he wants a book read, but mom is in the shower and dad is cleaning up the living room?

Step 1: Sit in the rocking chair with the book of choice
Step 2: Call out "Mama"! and wait for response
Step 3: Repeat step 2 at a higher volume and with greater sense of urgency
Step 4: Call out "Papa"! and wait for response
Step 5: Apply rapid-fire technique calling out alternatively "Mama!Papa!Mama!Papa!" ad naseum
Step 6: If all else fails, pull out the Big Guns and yell "JOOST!" at the top of your lungs
Step 7: Wait quietly in fear that you have overstepped some unwritten rule while your parents laugh their arses off
