The big question is answered!

Those of you cuious to know what Mats' first word would be (and more importantly: Dutch or English), the mini-oracle has spoken! Actually about 2 weeks ago, but I've been too busy to memorialize it. And his first word is (drumroll, please!):

"DAG!" - accompanied by enthusiastic waving

For the English speakers, that means "Good-bye". We are now working on trying to get him to say it in English (or at least respond to it in English). So far, to no avail. We are heading up to Oregon for 5 days with the Narum family, so perhaps that will bring out the English-speaking genes.
