Mats has got it down - the Easter Bunny comes, hides eggs, and then he gets to search for them. We had a trial run at an Easter Egg hunt at a friend's house on Saturday, so when Sunday rolled around, Mats was ready to search. Young and impressionable, Mats is quick to learn new tricks. When we visited a friend on Monday, and Mats just happened to find a stray plastic Easter Egg under a table, he nearly ripped their house apart looking for the rest of the eggs. You can imagine his disapointment in not finding any more. Who knew the previously generous bunny could turn so miserly.

And on a fashion note, the Dutch among Mats' fan club will recognize the "Nijntje" (=Miffy) attire in honor of the great white bunnies everywhere. And in further fashion items, the cool bucket featured in this photo shoot has now become Mats' favorite "purse". Mom never leaves the house without one - why should he?
