The Big Apple

Mats made his first trip to New York City! He loved the plan ride - lots of interesting buttons to push, and things to put in his mouth. Contrary to the gay old time he had aboard United, he seemed pretty unimpressed with the record amounts of SNOW that he witnessed falling from the sky (hey, he's a Californian - for all he knows, snow is supposed to fall with such abundance).

His friend Helena and her parents Sam and Wendelee braved the snow and took a train into the city to meet Mats - it was so good to see them, and Mats was awestruck with Helena's ability to run around on two legs like an adult!
