2 months old!!!

2 months old today, and since returning from Mexico, Mats no longer fits into his 0-3 months clothes - the crotch no longer snaps and he has about 2 inches of leg hanging out. What a big guy!

Our little world traveler had a great time in Mexico. Okay - he didn't even know he had left the country, but we like to pretend that he was basking in the culture of colonial Oaxaca. Aside from growing like a weed down there, Mats also started cracking himself up. He's been smiling for a few weeks now, but down south he started pumping his arms, legs, and giggling up a storm. Of course, Joost and I couldn't get enough of the one-man show. It's the best reality show around!

Alas, the vacation is over and we are back in San Francisco. I think Mats is going through withdrawal from not having both Joost and I paying constant attention to him - time to go try and pacify him with just one parent. I've never felt so insufficient before!
